Cherished Early Years Class Recipes at Shepherd Valley Waldorf School and After School Programs

Daily, weekly and annual rhythms are the basis of early childhood lessons. The pills are delivered and served daily. We take great care in preparing and serving our dishes. The table is nicely set up with folded cloth napkins and lighted candles. We say a blessing at every meal.

Hands clasped, hands far away,
Hand in hand, we are ready to begin.
The land that gives us this food;
The sun that makes it ripe and good.
Dear Sun above and Earth below;
We warmly thank you.
We ask God for his blessings on us
A meal, for our family, for our friends,
And on us.
